Looter " God is Real in Principle"

now the majority of people nowadays do no go by the hope of old times.
now the reason for this is important and goes beyond mere words.
our culture sees ethics especially national or civil politics as the rules and standards by which we guide ourselves.

so the elders called wanting to meet with me and my husband.
most likely because i told a concerned jw friend of mine that i really care about that i wasn't coming back and a couple of the issues i had.
i didn't bring up any so-called "apostate" information, just told her about the australian royal commission and that there are a lot of unscriptural teachings and that the gb apply scriptures that are about jehovah and jesus to themselves, which is idolatry.
Seven " The Elders want to meet with me and the hubby.. LOL LOL LOL"
The Rebel. I wish the elders would now want to meet me.. LOL, I can imagine the conversation:-
The Rebel. " I am confused why don't we celebrate Xmas, is Santa Claus really fiction?
The Elders " Well Rebel, Santa is an anagram of " SATAN"
The Rebel " Wow I never realized that, but I still think it's OK to hold hand before marriage"
The Elders. " Rebel do you know where babies come from?
The Rebel, " Boo booo, gaga ga, I think talking with you guys is like talking to the under fives"
The Rebel.
in a previous post i mentioned i purchased a tape-deck to listen to "pear tree in the wilderness" by a very talented busker named kai jansen.
listening to his songs after 20 years created strong feelings and wonderful memories yet i have to admit the songs didn't live up to expectation.. so yesterday for an experiment i sat down with my 10 year old boy and introduced him to the music of:-.
bowie, eno, u2, aldo nova, the smiths, the who.. orlandos comments " absolute rubbish!!".

Orlandos comments " Absolute Rubbish !!". However Abba, did meet with his approval, which was odd because when Abba first made it I thought they were absolute rubbish.
Anyway if Armegeddon is further delayed:-
A) Do you think the great music of " The Beetles"" Bowie" " The Stones" " can survive and be appreciated in a hundred years time? Or will it just become " The Who?"
B) If yes by whom?
In my opinion songs like Happy Birthday are timeless, but iam not sure the great songs like " my generation" will survive.

Looter " Look Vivianne you are coming on pretty strongly towards me, and it's unnecessary"
( Looter is 18)
Viv " Iam being rather gentle"
18 ( Alice Cooper)
Lines form on my face and hands
Lines form from the ups and downs
I am in the middle without any plans
...........
18 (The Rebel & Alice Cooper)
At 18 people get confused every day
Eighteen I just don't know what to say.
...........
So Viv some people are just 18, and at 18 you may be surprised it's an age people like being taught without being torn down . Welcome back Viv.

i remember sitting on my daddy's lap and driving an imaginary car, i also remember sitting on my mummies lap on the front seat, without a seat belt whilst my dad drove a real car.
i remember we bought fish and chips from the chippy wrapped in yesterday's newspapers.
i remember bouncing up and down on my space hopper in the garden.
Why did I start this thread?
A) Today I went to the second hand shop to purchase a " tape deck"
Why?
The main reason In the " Eighties" I was in Covent Garden and a busker was playing and selling his music on " tape". He was brilliant and his songs were about his life. Without buying the " tape deck" today I would never hear again "SARI: Peartree in the Wilderness by Kai Jansen, a busker in the 80s who sang and wrote about his life and greatest love.

Rebelfighter:- thanks your post made starting the O.P worthwhile.
Tornapart, thanks for bringing back to my memory the " school caps". I had forgotten all about having to wear the thing and having to retrieve it daily from the bushes after it had been taken from my head by the class bully.

russell had some charisma, as did the alcoholic womanizer, j.f.
rutherford.
n.h. knorr, not so much.
Well " DJS" you changed the picture of Victoria, but the image is still the same, her smile is still one of greed and I hope we are both lucky and intelligent men, who have chosen before anything else the truthful portrayal of love. I know this is true of you because you have mentioned in your previous posts you are dating (if memory serves correct a Hindu lady)
Getting back on topic, if a man can live a happy life with his wife and their offspring can live on happily after our death, then maybe that's enough, so let all the religiouse charlatans and polititions go to hell.

I am English Stan. More importantly I believe it was in the 80s personalized number plates became a fashion. I say this because I love your Avetor a car number plate " 666 XJW" that's cool.
Giles Gray, yes Fawlty Towers, but some of the ( only 12 episodes were made) are as degrading to women as Benny Hill or On The Buses. Dads Army is still a fun show though.
The Rebel.
p.s I still love Benny Hill, but my wife objects.

The only thing real about Victoria are her hands, those of a 55 year old woman, sadly exploiting religion with an expensive Diamond ring on her finger to show for it . Why? because people buy into her ministry/ cosmetic surgery. Give me my wife anyday.

i read the word "spiritual" sometimes on the site.
what exactly do the jw's mean by it ?.
Q) What do jehovers witnesses mean by spiritual ?
A) I remember I asked this question when I was on the ministry with a special pioneer. I always remembered his answer because it seemed to have nothing to do with " spiritual" . His answer was " STICKABILITY". Seemed more like " CONFORMITY" to me.
